I came into the dealership a few months to just get some information on a used bike. That is when I was met by Corey. He was very knowledgeable and got to know me I didnt feel like I was pressured into anything. Then he introduced me to a manager named Anthony, who guaranteed me there would be no pressure. We would just get some information. 15 minutes later I was buying a bike that I still absolutely love. I was treated with the most respect by these two gentlemen, and cannot think them enough. I came to the dealership to just look at a few shirts. As soon as I came in, I was greeted by young man named Anthony. He took me over to the shirts, and introduced me to one of their representatives. I felt like I was family and treated with the upmost respect after telling them I was not buying a motorcycle. I wish more dealerships were like this will definitely be referring friends and family.

My experience started extremely rough and was a long process. I dealt with a lot of associates but ANTHONY was the one that took on the challenge of getting my bike back up and running. He spearheaded it told me a date and the bike was ready the date he guaranteed when others couldnt produce the days they promised. Im not sure Anthony role at Bayside but it should be managerial he gets things done and he cares extremely about customer service.

So, I was just in town visiting the beach but wanted to see if any local dealers had a engine guard for my 2019 Street Bob. I called and spoke with Shane in parts and they had one available. I called on a Friday evening, just minutes before they were closing and asked if I rode in would they have the chance to install it, as I did not have the tools necessary because again, I was not near my house. Short story - Shane and the service department made it happen. I am telling you, they had me in before the shop opened and less than :30 minutes later I was two wheels down and feet up. They did not try to upsell me on anything, they knew what I was looking for and they got me in and out. The service team, (I wish I caught their names) but they were top notch and nothing but nice! Last thought on this, I told Shane I have been waiting for almost a year on a part. He looked it up in the system and went ahead and put it on order for me. I have 100% faith that this dealership will be the first to call me with the part. He said they will ship me the part, but with the service I received there on day one, I will be driving back there for them to install. They know how to treat their customers. Was on a motorcycle trip from Wisconsin to Norfolk, VA to visit my daughter in the Navy. Lost my key and had to brake my ignition lock intentionally to continue my trip. Shane in parts, Bill in service, and the boss man did a bang up job getting me back on the rode by fixing the bike after hours to get me home again after I got the bike trailered to the dealership. What a great way to start 2022 by upgrading my Harley! Huge shout out to Bernard, Anthony, and Adam!!Anthony and I spoke for a bit as I was waiting on my 10k mile service at Bayside last month when Anthony asked me about upgrading. He was able to relate when I told him how I've put $$$$ into my Road king as he recently upgraded his Harley!
What's better than a salesperson who has been in your shoes and understands all that comes with trading/upgrading! It's not easy upgrading after the love/time you've poured into your bike. 2-weeks ago I never would have considered trading in my Road King but as much as my wife and I travel I needed something with audio and a bit more wind protection to tackle those 300+ mile rides my wife and I do. My wife and I went to check out the new 2022 models last week and Anthony and Adam caught my wife and I admiring the new 2022 Ultra Limited. After a couple of visits, Anthony and Adam were able to get my wife on board with the 2022 Limited! What is not to love! If anyone knows a thing about marriage, Happy Wife, Happy Life. I didn't think my wife could be convinced to upgrade my Road king but Anthony and Adam did it! We came home and that's all my wife could talk about, how beautiful and comfortable that limited was! But I still wasn't sold on letting go of my Road King. I went into Bayside to discuss refinancing my Harley Road King Special and while my wife and I were waiting, my wife and I were ADMIRING the 2022 Limited and what started as a visit to refinance my road king turned into discussing trading in my Road King Special and Anthony asked us to give him a chance to work the numbers. So I allowed Anthony and Bernard to work their magic and see what they could do. I loved the hustle from the two as they were calling around as the 2022 limited they had in store was already sold. After a few, they were able to locate the Gunship Gray 2022 Limited and that's when my wife and I knew it was destiny! Anthony then calls me with an offer I couldn't resist! I took my family into Bayside and closed the deal. My wife and I couldn't be happier.Steve in finance added the cherry on top and closed the deal and the rest is history! My wife and I cannot wait to ride our new 2022 to Daytona in March. Shout out to Anthony and Bernard who understood my wife and I's needs! My wife and I needed new helmets for our old BMW R65. Knowing the best way to buy helmets is to try them on, Bayside seemed to be the only local dealer with a good inventory. We were very pleased with the folks that eventually fitted us both. I've always wanted a Harley but the excellent treatment by dealer personnel led to the purchase of a new Heritiage Classic. I was interested in the Heritage but never having ridden a Harley wanted to remain open minded. Erik Czarnecki convinced me to ride a couple bikes starting with a Heritage, then a Street Bob, and finally a couple soft-tails that had just been traded in. Erik was kind, open and helpful and clearly would answer any questions or work with me in any way he could. I walked away to think, and a couple days later Erik texted my a picture of a low mileage 2019 Heritage that had just been traded. Back to the dealer to take a ride. Unfortunately Erik was not able to be there at the time and, instead, we worked with Tony (Anthony) who agreed to let me take a longer ride on the Heritage. The second ride convinced me to try and work a deal, and Tony made that happen. Another great guy. To finish, we are impressed with everyone we met at Bayside which, at this point includes at least three in the accessories and apparrel dept, serice, parts, and at least three salesman. All have been thoroughly professional, friendly and helpful. I wish more businesses have such a level of customer service.

On my way home from Daytona Beach Bike Week, my Road Glide's ABS warning light illuminated. As the trip home progressed, my bike developed a very significant rear end wobble / shake near the Dismal Swamp. I nursed the bike in to Bayside shortly after opening, and went straight to Service. Kevin (Pappy) Fingulin greeted me at the door, and could tell right away I was a traveler in distress. He showed me the coffee area, while getting my information about my bike. Before I could even get my leathers off, Kevin introduced me to Axel Rodriguez, the Tech who repaired my ride. Axel listened to my problem, evaluated the ABS trouble code, and after a little more troubleshooting to ensure we pursued the correct repair path, determined both rear wheel bearings were shot. As soon as he pulled the wheel off, the ABS sensor bearing fell apart. After a reasonable amount of time, Axel had my bike back together, and after a successful test ride, the ABS light stayed out. After his repair, I rode another 230 miles that day, with no further warning lights and finished my trip home without incident. While Axel was repairing my bike, Kevin was keeping me appraised of his progress, and also worked with my ESP company to arrange payment for parts that were covered. These two employees are an excellent asset to the Bayside H-D team. Kevin, Axel, and other employees of Bayside made me feel like a part of the Bayside H-D "family", and made me feel comfortable and welcome. If I lived in the local area, I would be proud to call this dealership my home. Thanks again to your excellent Service department for a job well done!

You never want to hear you need a major repair, but Sean noticed the noise was documented and would probably would be covered under warranty which really relieved some stress. Don and Chris really came through helping me with questions, ordering upgraded parts and recommendations for the warranty rebuild. Sean certainly took care of me when it was said and done and scheduled a Dyno for a couple weeks out. It may have taken some time but you can't rush perfection and the results speak for themselves. First and foremost, I'm not necessarily a new rider but I'd say I'm coming along well. I took the motorcycle riding course back in November 2016 on the Naval Base. Let me say that I've not ever, even rode a mini-bike. Anyway, four days after the course I wanted to get a starter/learning bike for which I chose the sporster. Well, it's been a while and I must say that I've been ready for a "bigger" bike for not long after becoming confident and familiar with my bike, the rode, and other drivers. The day before yesterday, I again visited my favorite Harley establishment and spoke with who's (in my opinion) their #1 FIT (salesman) Mr. Antonio "Tony" Swims. I gave me my story and he help me with some major descisions when it came to upgrading. He was very professional and took his time in understanding what I was seeking. Never at any time was I pressured or felt uncomfortable. To me he's a 10 on a scale of 5. "Tony, I appreciate all you've done for me with my upgrade venture." Now, to make this long story shorter, after it was all said and done.....from Tony, to Joe (sales manager), to Chris (finance), big kuddos to you all. I thank you all for working your magic and making this a reality. To the owner, you've hired and have one hell of a team. I'm sure you now that but thought you'd like to hear it from a second time customer. And believe me I'll be back. Again, thank you all for your efforts. Word of mouth is the best advertisement, and I'll spread the news to anyone who's considering a bike purchase.

Although I had cash in hand and a fast approaching deadline, most dealers did not get back to me or just had a boat load of add on costs and when I tried to make an offer or negotiate, I never heard from them again.Not the case with Bayside. Met all my concessions and brought the bike 150 miles North and delivered it to my wife in time for the Birthday celebration. BHD did an outstanding job with my purchase and ensuring I received a fair deal on purchase and parts and accessories. Chip, Maria and Vince were awesome. My issue is follow up after the sale: 1. on my transfer of my maintenance plan from my FLD I bought at BHD it was discussed as either a refund of around $850 or transfer to new bike. Vince mentioned, Maria stated it and the finance manager was to bet back to me. I stopped by to inquire a few days after sale to pick up my bike from mods. Vince said he would get the answer, so did finance manager. Still haven't received word. 2. After licking up my bike from removable tour pack install, there were paint scratches in rear fender and saddlebag. Chip had a tech look at it and he said he would get his paint guy to schedule me for them to correct. When I removed my seat, I noticed a rather large scratch that would prevent a solo seat because it is that bad. This a new bike and that shouldn't be there. With these issues, I still haven't received that call. I have chosen BHD fir two bike 7sales along with all my parts and maintenance over a HD dealer much closer to me. I consider this just an oversight but was hoping to get some follow through with these issues. I'm a loyal customer and leave great reviews on Yelp, Google and on Facebook because BHD has served me and my fellow veterans well. It seems these items have slipped through the cracks. Just taking a different approach because vusuts, calls and Harley Surveys haven't seemed to prompt a resolve.

I recently needed a back tire replaced due to an emergency trip of over 1500 miles and Bayside not only had my tire in stock but they put me on the schedule THE NEXT DAY to get my tire replaced... on top of that, since they knew I had a long trip ahead of me, they checked over my entire bike and fixed anything that was wrong. "I recently visited Bayside to have a flat fixed on my wide glide I purchased from them in 05. I went to nags head the same day and to my surprise the next morning my tire was flat again. Upon inspecting the tire I saw no nail so I figured there must have been something wrong with the fix. I called Don in the service department and he offered something that blew my mind. He said that someone from the Kitty Hawk location would come to my cottage, pick up the bike, provide me with a rental, and have someone bring my bike back to portsmouth. He made a life long customer with that "over the top" level of service. Thank you to Don and the entire staff of bayside harley!!"
